The drivetrain consist of several small components that work together to deliver the power to the wheels to move your truck. When one of these components start to break down or fail, it can cause a significant effect on your truck's performance. The drivetrain consists of four basic parts; transmission, driveshaft, axle and differential. Fleet trucks experience a lot of hard work and wear and tear, which results in driveshafts being prone to issues.
Most commonly seen issues with any component in the drivetrain is usually maintenance or the replacement of gears and bearings that have worn over time. If not properly taken care of, larger problems can occur and could result in needing a replacement of a larger drivetrain component. Servicing your truck's drivetrain with differential fluid and transmission fluid flushes is highly recommended. If you experience any of the above signs, it's likely you need to have your drivetrain looked at by the professionals here.
